Work Positive Tool and CISM Network Ireland Seminar


 

CISM Network Ireland (of which PHECC is a member) have been selected as finalists in the 2017 Civil Service Excellence and Innovation Awards for its Work Positiveci tool in the category of Research Analytics and Insight. Work Positiveci provides feedback on workplace stress, employee psychological wellbeing and critical incident exposure in the workplace. It delivers structured guidance enabling organisations to develop an action plan to mitigate against these stressors. You can find out more about Work Positiveci at www.workpositive.ie.

 Prof Stephen Regal OBE
CISM Network Ireland hosted a seminar “Growth and the CISM Response to Workplace Trauma” in the Dublin Fire Brigade Training Centre on 11th November. The keynote speaker was Prof Stephen Regal OBE. Prof Regal is a Principal Psychotherapist/Co-Director of the Centre for Trauma, Resilience and Growth, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Special Associate Professor in the School of Sociology and a Senior Fellow of the Institute of Mental Health, Nottingham. He was appointed an OBE in 2013 for services to victims of trauma. 

He delivered an engaging and thought-provoking presentation reflecting on his many years’ experience in the field of trauma.
