The 3rd Conference dedicated to Community First Responders took place in the Mullingar Park Hotel earlier this year.
This is an invaluable conference for all current and would-be community first responders. Delegates can network and share information in addition to hearing expert speakers discussing out-of-hospital cardiac arrest best practice and guest speakers telling you about their positive experiences involving community responders.
Again this year the Dr Geoff King Award presentation took place. This award is for the acknowledgement of a community, individual or organisation that has gone the extra mile by making that special effort in strengthening the “chain of survival”. Geoff's daughter Róisín presented the award to John Fitzgerald, a worthy winner. Congratulations John and keep up the great work. You can see the presentation here
