Request Emergency Dispatch (RED) card
The RED card has been developed by PHECC to help responders prepare prior to calling an ambulance.
The card will also prompt appropriate information from An Garda Síochána and Fire Service personnel on-scene who require an emergency ambulance to attend.
The RED card protocol will assist the Emergency Medical Controller in facilitating an appropriate and timely response following a request for an emergency ambulance.
The Red Cards can be collected free of charge from
Clark Executive in Naas, Co. Kildare.
Alternatively, they can be ordered
online for delivery. Postage and packaging charges will apply.
Practitioner re-registration
Practitioner re-registration will commence in 2009. Re-registration can be carried out using the PayPal facility available on
www.phecc.ie. The fee remains unchanged at €10 per annum with existing registrants being offered the facility to re-register for 3 years.
