CPGs for Medications for Listed Organisations (MLO) have been revised and include Naloxone IN and revised medication formulary entries. The updated weblink to CPGs for MLO Edition 3 are available here:  Edition 3 takes precedence over previous editions.

Consequently, the CFR & MLO education and training standard (STN022) was updated - see weblink.  The update includes teaching the administration of Naloxone nasal spray for the emergency treatment of respiratory depression, secondary to known or suspected narcotic overdose, in accordance with PHECC CPGs.  Institutions with course approval for CFR & the Naloxone module, must now update the lesson plans to ensure compliance with this update.
