EMT CPC Roadshow Workshops 2021

We are pleased to announce that we are launching our 2021 EMT CPC roadshows with the first one beginning next week, Wednesday the 15th of September in Waterford.

This year’s roadshow will evolve into a workshop format where our EMT CPC assessors will take small, intimate groups through three CPC topics. An overview of CPC will not be given like previous roadshows. The three CPC topics that will be covered are

1. Case studies
2. Reflective practice
3. ePortfolio

The work shops are designed to fully explain each item while allowing you to take part in practical’s. It also gives practitioners the opportunity to ask the EMT CPC assessors any CPC related questions that you may have. Once again we have endeavoured to cover the largest area possible to reduce travel times for practitioners, however, we have faced difficulties in certain areas for venues and as such, we have had to consolidate or replace previous locations. EMTs who attend the workshops will be awarded three CPC points.

As groups will be smaller and closer together for these workshops, we are obliged to take extra precautions and as such, we will require a Vaccination certificate for COVID 19 (or proof of recovery from COVID 19 in the last 6 months). We will also require each attendee to wear a facemask at all times during the workshops. We apologise if this excludes some practitioners from the workshops, however, we must ensure safety of our attendees and of our assessors.

Roadshow workshops are now “live” on our Eventbrite page located here. Due to the reduced capacity, we would urge Practitioners to only book a ticket if they are sure they can attend. Similarly, if you book a place and cannot attend, please cancel your ticket ASAP to ensure that we maximise attendance.
