PHECC has completed the development of an online portal for Recognised Institution (RI) status application, course delivery approval application at practitioner (NQEMT) and responder levels and RI status renewal. 


This online portal is now operational and will allow prospective and existing RIs to:

  • Complete and submit an RI application. 
  • Complete and submit application forms for course delivery at practitioner and responder levels.
  • Manage your RI’s faculty.
  • Complete and submit application forms for PHECC recognised institution renewal.
  • Upload supporting documentation (such as policies and procedures) for the RI, course and renewal applications.
  • Make electronic payments for the RI application, course and renewal fees.
  • Track the progress of their application with PHECC.

PHECC will not accept hard copy applications for RI status, courses and renewals. All organisations including established RIs must apply via the online portal. 

You can access the RI portal at https://www.phecit.ie/RI_portal. If you are a PHECC practitioner to logon please use the PHECC credentials you normally use for re-registration purposes, unless you have changed them the details are:

Username - Pin Number
Password - DOB + Pin Number (numbers only, no spaces or other characters)

Please note if your RI renewal status expired and was subsequently extended because of the temporary suspension, you will shortly receive correspondence, detailing the revised submission dates for your renewal.
