Education & Training Standards 2007
One of Council's statutory functions is to ensure training institutions and course content in first response and emergency medical technology reflect contemporary best practice. This key function remains a priority in Council's Strategic Plan 2006-2009.
In April 2007, Council's rules for the recognition of institutions and courses were published along with the Education and Training Standards for the following courses: Cardiac First Response, Emergency First Response, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic and Driving.
