Register > Joining the Register > Character

To join the PHECC Register applicants must be of good character.

Applicants must have no relevant criminal conviction (i.e. convicted of any offence which would preclude an individual from employment within the health sector)

As part of the application process applicants will be required to make a declaration to this effect. PHECC reserve the right to request applicants to facilitate a clearance by An Garda Siochana (Irish Police) and also to request testimonials from relevant individuals of good standing (as decided by PHECC).
